Als zwei Jungen in einer Grenzstadt in Nepal entführt werden, wird die Kommissarin Pooja aus Kathmandu geschickt, den Fall zu lösen. Bei ihrer Ankunft wird sie jedoch durch die sich anbahnenden politischen Unruhen aus der Bahn geworfen und ist gezwungen, die Hilfe einer lokalen Madhesi-Polizistin, in Anspruch zu nehmen. Indem sie die systembedingte Diskriminierung beiseite schieben und die alltägliche Frauenfeindlichkeit überwinden, gelingt es den Frauen, den Fall zu lösen. Inspiriert von realen Ereignissen, die während der heftigen Proteste 2015 in Südnepal stattfanden.
