Don Camillos Rückkehr

Im norditalienischen Dorf Boscaccio in der Emilia Romagna leben der Pfarrer Don Camillo und der kommunistische Bürgermeister Giuseppe Peppone Bottazzi. Kaum ein Tag vergeht, an dem sich die beiden Streithähne nicht an den Kragen gehen. Aber ohne einander mögen Don Camillo und Peppone auch nicht leben. Und wenn es sein muss, halten die beiden zusammen wie Pech und Schwefel. Wir zeigen den ersten (am 16.1.) und den zweiten Film (am 26.1.) aus einer Reihe, die Kultstatus genoss in einer Zeit, in der die Kirche noch im Dorf war und der Priester eine unbescholtene Figur. Gino Cervi und Fernandel brillieren in den Hauptrollen.
