Until Tomorrow
Fereshteh studiert und arbeitet in Teheran. Was ihre Eltern nicht wissen: Sie hat auch eine zwei Monate alte, uneheliche Tochter. Als sich ihre Eltern spontan zu Besuch ankündigen, muss sie das Kind für eine Nacht woanders unterbringen. Eigentlich kein Problem – doch unter Zeitdruck entwickelt sich das Vorhaben zu einem schwierigen Unterfangen. Mit der Hilfe ihrer Mitbewohnerin begibt sich Fereshteh auf eine Odyssee durch die Stadt. Erzählt über den Lauf eines Tages, zeigt der Film von Ali Asgari eindrücklich auf, was es für Menschen in Iran bedeutet, ausserhalb traditioneller Familienstrukturen zu leben – und wie die unerschrockene Generation der Millennials das patriarchalische Wertsystem auf den Prüfstand stellt.
