Le bleu du caftan
In einer Gasse der Altstadt im marokkanischen Salé betreiben Halim und Mina eine Schneiderei. Aus edelsten Stoffen stellen sie in aufwändiger Handarbeit Kaftane her. Das Geschäft floriert, das Paar stellt Youssef als Lehrling ein. Die Anwesenheit des attraktiven jungen Mannes im Nähatelier weckt bei Halim unterdrückte Gefühle. Mit dem preisgekrönten «Adam» hat sich Maryam Touzani international einen Namen gemacht. In ihrem neuen Spielfilm erzählt sie von einer verbotenen Leidenschaft, rührt damit an ein Tabu ihrer Heimat Marokko und entführt in die sinnliche Welt einer Kaftan-Schneiderei: Feinfühlig, vielschichtig, mit Lubna Azabal und Saleh Bakri in den Hauptrollen.
