Foudre
Sommer in einem Schweizer Dorf um 1900. Als die 17-jährige Novizin Elisabeth vom plötzlichen Tod ihrer ältesten Schwester Innocente erfährt, sieht sie sich gezwungen, nach fünf Jahren hinter Klostermauern auf den Hof ihrer Familie zurückzukehren. Schon bei ihrer Ankunft werden die Todesumstände ihrer Schwester von einem seltsamen Schweigen umhüllt. Doch Elisabeth ahnt, dass mehr dahinterstecken muss. Zwischen knochenharter Feldarbeit, dem christlich-konservativen Elternhaus und den verstohlenen Blicken der männlichen Dorfjugend taucht sie immer tiefer in die Geheimnisse von Innocente ein. Die Westschweizer Regisseurin Carmen Jaquier erforscht in eindrücklich komponierten Bildern (Kamera: Marine Atlan) weibliche Emanzipation inmitten erdrückender Gesellschaftsnormen. Gedreht wurde der Film im Binntal im Wallis.
