Alma & Oskar
Im Frühjahr 1912 lässt sich Alma Mahler, frisch verwitwete Dame der Wiener Gesellschaft, auf eine Affäre mit dem Enfant Terrible der Kunstszene ein, dem expressionistischen Maler Oskar Kokoschka. Was als leidenschaftliches Verhältnis beginnt, wird zu einem Spiel um Macht und Abhängigkeit, bei dem unterschiedliche Lebensentwürfe aufeinanderprallen. Während Kokoschka Liebe mit bedingungsloser Hingabe und Besitzanspruch gleichsetzt, widerstrebt es Alma Mahler, die Rolle der Muse und Mutter zu verkörpern. Ihrem Wunsch nach Selbstverwirklichung folgend, beginnt sie sich mehr und mehr aus den Fängen dieser Amour Fou zu befreien, um für ihr Recht auf ein selbstbestimmtes Leben und ihren künstlerischen Erfolg als Komponistin zu kämpfen.
