Competencia oficial
Um ein bleibendes Vermächtnis zu schaffen will ein Milliardär einen Film produzieren und dafür die Besten der Besten engagieren. Die exzentrische Autorenfilmerin Lola Cuevas soll Regie führen, die renommierten Schauspielstars Félix Rivero und Iván Torres, beide ausgestattet mit enormem Talent und riesigem Ego. Während der selbstverliebte Félix in Hollywood Karriere machte, gilt der prätentiöse Iván als radikaler Bühnenkünstler. Die gegensätzlichen Arbeitsauffassungen der beiden Selbstdarsteller sowie Lolas immer ausgefallenere Schauspielübungen bringen sämtliche Beteiligten schon bald an den Rand des Nervenzusammenbruchs. Zum Jahreswechsel gibt’s diese zu wenig bekannte erfrischende Komödie mit dem unübertrefflichen Paar Penélope Cruz und Antonio Banderas. Der Film ist auch eine Hommage ans Kino.
